LRS' President and CEO, John Weber

John Weber

President & CEO

John Weber assumed the role of chief executive officer in early 2015 after first joining LRS as chief technology officer in 2013. At LRS, Weber is responsible for managing overall operations, executing the company’s long and short-term plans, and implementing high-level strategies.

Weber’s career has spanned a wide range of disciplines including software and hardware development, product strategy, marketing, and sales. Previously, Weber held several executive-level positions at InfiniDB (formerly Calpont Corporation) where he was responsible for all aspects of product architecture, product delivery, quality assurance and customer support. Later, Weber help grow InfiniDB by leading business development and sales by creating multi-national implementation and resale partnerships. At MetaSolv Weber was instrumental in designing and developing a portfolio of products, collaboratively crafting the product vision, and opening and managing MetaSolv’s first remote office location responsible for implementing the largest contract acquired at that time.

Weber received his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University in business administration.

LRS' Chief Revenue Officer, Dan Murphy

Chief Revenue Officer

As chief revenue officer for Long Range Systems, Dan Murphy is responsible for LRS’ global direct and channel sales, sales management and field services.

In his role, Murphy works closely with large tier one clients, 3rd party business and channel partners.

Prior to LRS, Murphy served as vice president of sales for AIRTAG US, which provides mobile ordering, marketing and payment solutions for restaurants and retail concepts. Prior to that, Murphy was senior sales director for Aloha/Radiant/NCR first in Enterprise Sales and then in the Hosted Solutions Division working with a sizeable distribution channel network and channel partners in the restaurant, hospitality and retail space.

Murphy got his start as an owner of three different restaurants in New York before making the transition to selling technology solutions.

LRS' Chief Finanical Officer, Brian Scott

Chief Financial Officer

As chief financial officer for Long Range Systems, Brian Scott oversees LRS’ financial well-being by providing financial projections, accounting services, coordinating with other areas of the business in preparing growth plans, and managing the accounting, human resource and operational staffs.

In his role, Scott uses his mix of accounting and operations experience to not only monitor the financial performance of LRS, but also develop strategies for minimizing waste, making process improvements, and optimizing revenue.

Scott began his career with Arthur Andersen and went on to hold finance and administration leadership roles at a variety of other companies. His experience ranges from the financial services industry to the food and beverage industry to most recently several technology service providers.

LRS' Chief Marketing Officer, Michelle Strong

Chief Marketing Officer

As chief marketing officer for Long Range Systems, Michelle Strong is responsible for LRS’ product strategy, marketing programs, corporate communications, and sales support.

In her role, Strong works closely with LRS’ clients, business partners, and operating units to assess market needs, uncover emerging trends, understand competitive offerings, and recommend integrated hardware and software offerings that best address on-location communication needs.

Strong began her career in the media industry and held management roles in a variety of other businesses including a marketing agency, affiliate marketing company, and non-profit cultural facility; with responsibility overseeing marketing, research, sales, operations, and product development.

A native of St. Louis, Strong is a graduate of Bradley University, and resides in Dallas, Texas.
